Boondi Raita (Dip)

Ingredients -

  • Curd/Yogurt - 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Green chilli- 1 chopped
  • Boondi -  1 Handful

  • Take the curd in a bowl and beat it until no lumps are left over.
  • Mix salt and red chilli powder throrughly in curd.
  • Add Boondi and mix it lightly for 30 seconds.
  • Enjoy it with Biryani.

Rice Pudding ( Kheer)

Ingredients -
  1. Rice ( soaked) - 2 Handful
  2. Milk - 1/4 Gallon
  3. Sugar - 6-7 tbp
  4. Almonds - 10-12 pieces ( cut in small pieces)
  5. Raisins- 1 handful
  6. Pistachios - 1/2 Handful ( cut in small pieces)
Directions - 

  • Boil milk in a big Pan.
  • Drain water from rice and crush it by palm.
  • Add this rice to the boiling milk.
  • Reduce the flame to medium, keep on stirring occassionally and don't let it stick on pan.
  • Cook while the rice is properly cooked.
  • If there is no milk left in the pan, add a cup of milk to the pan.
  • Close the flame, add sugar,raisins and mix it properly.
  • Transfer the Pudding in a serving bowl.
  • Let it cool down and garnish by almonds and pistachios by sprinkling all over the bowl.
  • Keep this bowl inside the refrigerator.
  • Serve it Chilled.

Recipe to make Paneer

Ingredients for 1 cup Paneer -
  1. Milk -  1/2 Litre
  2. Lemon Juice - 2 tsp 

    Directions - 

    • Boil the Milk.
    • Pour the Lemon Juice, in a boiling milk.
    • Milk
    • The milk will torn, and fat will get separated from whey.
    • Now, drain the whey and separate the fat using the drainer.
    • Now, put it on a plate, cover it with a clean paper towel and press it with something very heavy.
    • Then, again after 30 minutes check it and remove the access water in a plate by a paper towel.
    • Put the stuff inside the refrigerator for 5-6 hours.
    • Your Paneer is ready.
    Lemon Juice in boiling milk
